Keia Atlas

Workplace technology in motion.

One living record of every room, device and job, from plan to fix.

  • Fine
  • Fault

The Dublin office: two floors, 41 spaces, every one a ring.

The demo's Dublin office, one September morning. Simulated: every company, room and fault is made up.

The problem

Rooms fail often, and the cost lands on the people in them.

Three figures from the research, with their sources. None is ours.

  1. 3 in 4

    hybrid meetings

have at least one technology failure, costing about 11 minutes each.

Toluna for Jabra, June 2026: 2,300 people in seven countries. Vendor-sponsored.

  2. 3 h 18 min

    lost per IT incident

the time the person who reported it says they lost.

HappySignals Global IT Experience Benchmark 2026: about 2 million responses. Vendor data, self-estimated.

  3. 2 h to 9 h 28 min

    as a job changes hands

every reassignment adds lost time. Having to explain twice is measurable.

HappySignals Global IT Experience Benchmark 2025: 2.28 million responses. Vendor data, self-estimated.

The year ahead

One afternoon

Deliver it

A new floor, set up in batches and checked by the record: the Dublin fourth floor, 37 devices in 16 spaces, as an integrator fits it out. Keia reads each unit back; a person fixes only the exceptions. The floor and its kit are real sample data; the integrator, the day and the readings are simulated.

Every night

Maintain it

Standing rules run inside their windows, read back what they did and write it down. The record says what is coming before it becomes a fault.

Fix, P2 within 8 hthis month · the promise, measured from the incident records

Counted per space and per office, never per person. From room booking, device monitoring and the incident records. Simulated.

Why it's different

Five things no ticket tool, room monitor or facilities system does together.

  1. It starts from the building, not the ticket

A fault shows in the room where it happened. The incident is opened from the room, filled in from the record.

  2. One record across every vendor and tool

AV, network, print and security, from every system you already run, joined on the space and the unit. Each fact names its source.

  3. DNS record for dub-309-vc01

Done automatically under the DNS rule (owner: Nora)

    Automation with a named owner

Routine work runs only under a standing rule someone approved once. Every run says who owns it, how it was done, and how to put it back.

  4. Designed for people

The answer first, then the detail. A page that is fine is quiet; one sentence and one figure change when something is not.

  5. Open source, no lock-in

Apache 2.0. Your record is YAML in your own repository, readable without us, and export is a copy.

One record, a different first screen for each of you.

Trust

Safe to run, safe to publish.

Security
Vault references, never passwords, in the YAML; the validator and the CI secret scan both check. Automatic work runs only under a rule a named owner approved, with the least access it needs, and every run has its full trace in the audit log.
Security policy →
Privacy
Every device that senses people carries a privacy record: what it captures, where that is processed, who may see it. Occupancy is a count, never a person, and a small room shows "fewer than five".
How trust works →
Standards
Evidence mapped to ISO/IEC 20000 and 27001, ITIL and PMI vocabulary alongside ours, NIS2 incident timers where they apply. Supported, never claimed: certification is yours to earn.
