Three to know by heart

Hostname
site-room-kind + number. dub-309-vc01 is Dublin, space 3.09, video conferencing, the first one. Anyone can read where a device is from its name.
MAC address
Six pairs of hex digits, burned in at the factory. The first three pairs name the manufacturer (its OUI, assigned by the IEEE). The demo's MACs start with 02, the locally administered range, so they can never clash with a real device.
IP address
Reserved for the MAC, so the device always gets the same one. In the demo it reads site network, floor, device.
