Before you touch a covered device
- Do not install Do not install Poly VideoOS 5 on any Google Meet room. Keep automatic updates off in Poly Lens and on each device. Stay on the version 4 line (4.6.2 now, 4.7.0 if it passes the Lab). Revisit if Poly adds Google Meet to version 5.
- Check Google Meet support on the X32 and X72 isn't in the vendor lists. Ask Poly to confirm in writing before the next order. Rooms already running Meet on these models stay as they are.
- Check External camera can revert to the built-in camera after a reboot. In rooms with an external camera, check the camera source after any reboot or update, and include it in the room's verification.
- Action needed The G62 is not supported for Google Meet. Large conference rooms use a G62 and Aigna meets on Google Meet. Until the service manager decides, large rooms run the G62 in Poly Video Mode, joining meetings over SIP. Decision needed on the large space type.
