Vendor access
This part is for Aigna staff
Vendors see their own installation and the device reference they need to build it: device types, setup guides and models. Everything else stays with Aigna.

Configuring happens in a project's Deploy page
Each device is provisioned, installed, configured in this setup order and commissioned there, ticked off with who and when. This page is the standard it follows.
No project is configuring it now. Every project

A practice run. A new install, in order. Ticks stay on this browser. The real run is ticked device by device in a project's Deploy page.
0 of 8Aigna sets these from the printer's own Remote UI, changing the shared default Administrator password, pointing the clock at Aigna's time server, switching monitoring to SNMPv3, and keeping firmware updates manual until the Lab has passed a release.
Administrator accessDevice web interface (Remote UI)
- SetAdministrator passwordSettings/Registration › Management Settings › User Management › Authentication Management › Register/Edit Authentication UserFrom the password vault, per siteEvery unit ships with the same Administrator password (7654321); Canon actually blocks Remote UI login on the default until it's changed from the control panel, but the control-panel side still needs a real password set.source
Date and timeDevice web interface (Remote UI)
- SetDate/Time Settings (time zone)Settings/Registration › Preferences › Timer/Energy Settings › Date/Time SettingsThe site's time zoneSets the clock used on print and scan job logs and the SNMP monitoring timestamps.source
- SetSNTP SettingsSettings/Registration › Preferences › Network Settings › TCP/IP Settings › SNTP Settingsntp1.aigna.exampleSyncs the clock from Aigna's time server automatically instead of a manual entry that drifts.source
SNMPDevice web interface (Remote UI)
- SetSNMP SettingsSettings/Registration › Preferences › Network Settings › SNMP SettingsSNMPv3 on with Aigna's monitoring credentials; SNMPv1 offSNMPv1 sends its community string in the clear; Aigna's print-fleet monitoring only needs v3.source
PrintingDevice web interface (Remote UI)
- VerifySecure Print (PIN printing)Available to every user from the driver's Output Method by defaultNo separate admin-side toggle is documented for this model; Aigna just confirms the option is there before relying on it for sensitive jobs.source
UpdatesDevice web interface (Remote UI)
- SetScheduled Update SettingsSettings/Registration › License/Other › Register/Update Software › Scheduled Update SettingsOffLeft on, the printer checks weekly or biweekly and downloads firmware on its own; Aigna applies a release only after the Lab has passed it.source
- SetManual UpdateSettings/Registration › License/Other › Register/Update Software › Manual UpdateFrom Canon's support site, applied after the Lab passes itThe documented way to apply a Lab-approved release by hand.source
What the vendor's documents don't say (3)
- No published current firmware/controller version for this model was found on the vendor pages read.
- No documented admin-side setting to require Secure Print for every job; it's opt-in per print job from the driver, so 'verify' rather than 'change' is the honest action here.
- The exact field names inside SNMP Settings (community string vs. v3 user/auth/priv) weren't broken out by the menu-list page read.
Provision is the first step of Deploy: before or as each printer arrives, every system gets its record, so the device is known the moment it is plugged in. It is ticked in the project's Deploy page; this is what each record needs.
