What it is for

Rated for 24/7 use, so one line serves both meeting rooms and signage. Used in Control room (backstage AV) · Welcome lounge.

  • Wired network control (MDC), SNMP and Samsung VXT for fleet management, so every display can be seen and turned on or off remotely.
  • Three HDMI inputs and CEC, so a video bar can wake it and choose its input.

Notes

  • VESA 400 x 300 mm, M8 screws, 12 to 14 mm deep.
  • 500 nits typical, 4,000:1, 25 percent haze, VA panel, 8 ms.
  • Tizen 7.0, quad-core 1.7 GHz, 16 GB storage (about 10 GB free), Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x 10 W speakers.
  • Operating conditions 0 to 40 degrees C, 10 to 80 percent humidity.
  • Optional stand STN-L6585C and slim wall mount WMN-B50SC; neither is in the box.
  • Samsung says the sister QBC line is meant for under 16 hours a day; the QMC is rated 24/7, which is why it is the house line.

What the manufacturer doesn't say

  • The power inlet type (C14 or C8) is not stated in any source read.
  • The manual draws the ports as one strip on the rear but does not say whether they face down or sideways, or give their order along the strip, so no order is recorded.
  • The IR jack size is not stated.
  • The manual gives no factory defaults for the settings the configuration uses.

Sources

Each model was read twice, independently, and the two readings reconciled against the manufacturer's text.
