Vendor access
This part is for Aigna staff
Vendors see their own installation and the device reference they need to build it: device types, setup guides and models. Everything else stays with Aigna.

Setup order
Optional: tick as you go, or let the checks do it1Patch into the space's AV port and power on; the device auto-acquires an address (DHCP) or falls back to 192.168.1.39.1/1
2Browse to the device's IP, sign in with the default Admin/Admin credentials, and change the password immediately.1/1
3Set the device name and confirm the network settings below.1/1
4Set the auto-switching policy and USB routing mode for the space.1/1
5Set the RS-232 port's role and, if the site uses NTP, point it at Aigna's time servers.1/1
6Wire and route the video/USB inputs; check HDCP, EDID and audio levels against the space's display.1/1
7Firmware is applied manually from the Device > General page; there is no automatic-update option to turn off.1/1

Identity and network2
- Device NamePer unitDevice > General > General PreferencesSet to The hostnameWorked out on the build sheet
Why
Matches DNS, device management and monitoring, so one name finds the device everywhere.
- IP ModeDevice > General > NetworkCheck it is DHCP (default), with a reservation on the AV VLAN
Why
Aigna's AV devices sit on a DHCP-reserved address on the AV VLAN rather than a hand-typed static one.
Security3
- Security StatusSecurity > SecurityCheck it is On (default)
Why
Keeps the web pages behind a login instead of open to anyone on the AV VLAN.
- Web Pages Access PasswordPer unitSecurity > SecuritySet to From the password vault, per siteWorked out on the build sheet
Why
The device ships with Admin/Admin, which must be changed before the switcher goes into service.
- 802.1X AuthenticationSecurity > 802.1XSet to Off
Why
Aigna's AV ports authenticate devices at the switch instead of at the endpoint.
AV settings8
- HDCP (per input)Check it is Yes (default) on all inputs
Why
Lets any HDCP-protected source play through without the installer having to touch it per space.
- HDCP (output)Check it is Follow Input (default)
Why
Only encrypts the output when the active input needs it, which keeps unprotected sources compatible with older displays.
- Color Depth Force 8BitsCheck it is Disable (default)
Why
Leaves full colour depth in place; only used to force compatibility with a difficult display.
- Force LPCM 2CHCheck it is Disable (default)
Why
Lets multi-channel or compressed audio through unchanged for Aigna's standard Google Meet audio path.
- Force RGB on OutputCheck it is Disable (default)
Why
Leaves the native colour space in place for the connected display.
- Auto Sleep DelayCheck it is Enabled (default)
Why
Lets the output go to sleep after a signal loss instead of holding the display awake indefinitely.
- No input signal (sleep timeout)Check it is 900 seconds (default)
Why
Gives a space enough time between meetings before the output sleeps, without leaving it on all day.
- Analog output volumePer unitRouting Settings > Analog OutputsSet to The room's calibrated listening levelWorked out on the build sheet
Why
The slider has no stated factory value; it's set to match each space's speakers during commissioning.
Routing2
- Auto-switching Selection ModeAV Settings > Auto switchingSet to Priority, with the USB-C laptop input (Input 1) highest
Why
Aigna's rooms are BYOM-first; plugging in a laptop should always win over an idle HDMI input.
- USB Host RoutingRouting Settings > Routing PageSet to USB follows AV coupled routing
Why
Keeps the active video input's USB peripherals (camera, soundbar) tied together, which is simpler for a space with one laptop at a time.
Control and time4
- Serial Port TunnelingControl Gateway > Serial PortsCheck it is Control (RS-232 controls the SWT3-31-HU itself)
Why
Aigna's rooms don't chain a separate serially-controlled device off this switcher.
- Use Time Server (NTP)Device > General > Time and DateSet to Manual
Why
Use Aigna's own time servers rather than whatever the network offers.
- Time server addressDevice > General > Time and DateSet to ntp1.aigna.example
Why
Keeps the switcher's clock, and its device logs, aligned with the rest of the space's equipment.
- Sync frequencyDevice > General > Time and DateSet to 1 day
Why
Keeps the clock accurate without polling the time server unnecessarily often.
Firmware1
- Firmware update methodCheck it is Manual upload only, no automatic-update toggle exists
Why
There's nothing to turn off; firmware only changes when an installer manually uploads a file, which already matches Aigna's Lab-first policy.
