Vendor access

This part is for Aigna staff

Vendors see their own installation and the device reference they need to build it: device types, setup guides and models. Everything else stays with Aigna.

Setup order

Optional: tick as you go, or let the checks do it
  1. 1Connect the 10GbE port to the home internet router or ONT (the default WAN port); power over the included USB-C adapter.0/4
  2. 2Adopt the gateway into the site's console from the UniFi Mobile App over WiFi or Bluetooth.0/4
  3. 3Sign the adoption in with an Aigna UI account, not a local-only login.0/4
  4. 4Create the worker's own network (VLAN) and confirm DHCP is serving the 2.5GbE LAN port.0/4
  5. 5Set the release channel to Official with automatic updates off.0/4
  6. 6Confirm the gateway shows as adopted and online in Site Manager.0/4

Every setting

6 in the setup guide, as patterns

Values marked Per unit are patterns here. Each unit's build sheet has them worked out: Drogheda home office 2, Reading home office 3, Guildford home office 2, Malmö home office 3.

Adoption2
  • Adopt deviceSet to Adopt into the worker's site from Pending Adoption
    Why

Links the gateway to the UniFi application that manages it; until adopted it only shows as Pending Adoption and takes no policy.

  • UI AccountSet to An Aigna UI account, not a local-only login
    Why

Enables remote management from Site Manager and automatic system backups, so the gateway can be supported without a visit to the worker's home.

WAN and LAN2
  • WAN portCheck it is 10GbE port (factory default WAN); connect the home internet uplink here
    Why

The 10GbE port is the default WAN port out of the box; Aigna keeps the default rather than reassigning it in software.

  • LAN networkPer unitCheck it is The worker's own network, DHCP on, over the 2.5GbE portWorked out on each build sheet
    Why

The 2.5GbE port is LAN by default; the worker's own devices reach it over DHCP with no static addressing needed at a home site.

Networks1
  • Create Virtual NetworkPer unitSettings > Networks > Create New NetworkSet to One network per remote worker, VLAN ID from Aigna's naming scheme, DHCP onWorked out on each build sheet
    Why

Keeps a remote worker's home network isolated from anything else on their router, the same way a site VLAN would.

Updates1
  • Release channel and automatic updatesSettings > Control Plane > UpdatesSet to Official channel, automatic updates off
    Why

Aigna tests firmware in the Lab before it reaches a remote worker's gateway; the Early Access channel is never used at a home site.
