This part is for Aigna staff
Vendors see their own installation and the device reference they need to build it: device types, setup guides and models. Everything else stays with Aigna.

Configuring happens in a project's Deploy page
Each device is provisioned, installed, configured in this setup order and commissioned there, ticked off with who and when. This page is the standard it follows.
No project is configuring it now. Every project

A practice run. Order matters for the steps marked Critical; a later step says which one comes first, and why. Ticks stay on this browser. The real run is ticked device by device in a project's Deploy page.

Aigna wires every QMC to the network, sets its clock from NTP, turns its own energy saving and auto power off features off, and lets the room system and a daily timer decide when it is on. It is named, reachable for MDC control and SNMP, locked, and managed in Samsung VXT.
TimeSettings > System > Time
- SetNTP SettingsSettings › System › Time › NTP SettingsThe site's NTP servers (from DHCP) and the site's time zoneTimers, logs and VXT schedules only line up when the clock is right; a display clock set by hand drifts.source

- SetAuto Power OnSettings › System › Power Control › Auto Power OnOnAfter a power cut the display comes back on by itself; the room system or the Off Timer then turns it off.source
- SetMax. Power SavingUnconfirmedSettings › System › Power Control › Max. Power SavingOffA deeper power saving state can drop the network in standby; Aigna saves energy with the timer and the room system instead.source

- SetEnergy Saving SolutionSettings › System › Power and Energy Saving › Energy Saving SolutionOffIt dims the backlight, which makes the far end and shared content look dull and changes the video bar's picture as it adjusts. Aigna saves far more energy by turning the display off when the space is empty.source
- SetBacklight OptimisationSettings › System › Power and Energy Saving › Backlight OptimisationOff in meeting rooms; on for signage near windowsIn a meeting room a brightness that follows the light fights the camera's exposure; signage by a window needs to brighten in daylight.source
- SetNo Signal Power OffSettings › System › Power and Energy Saving › No Signal Power OffOffWhen the video bar sleeps, the display would switch itself off and may not wake for the next meeting, which people report as no picture. The room system and the timer decide when it is off.source
- SetAuto Power OffSettings › System › Power and Energy Saving › Auto Power OffOffNobody presses the remote in a meeting room or on signage, so an idle timer would turn a working display off in the middle of the day.source
- DefaultBacklight ScheduleSettings › System › Power and Energy Saving › Backlight ScheduleNot usedThe On and Off timers do the job.source

What the vendor's documents don't say (6)
- The user manual states no factory defaults for these settings, so every Set or Verify is written as the value Aigna wants, not a change from a known default.
- The manual does not describe enrolling in Samsung VXT; the product page names VXT for remote device management. The VXT step is marked unconfirmed.
- No automatic update setting is documented, only Update Now.
- The manual documents MDC over RS232C and LAN but does not state the TCP port; third-party control drivers use 1515.
- SNMP is confirmed (ID and password), but its version and MIB are not stated.
- Max. Power Saving's effect on the network in standby is not stated; the value is marked unconfirmed until tried on a unit.
Provision is the first step of Deploy: before or as each display arrives, every system gets its record, so the device is known the moment it is plugged in. It is ticked in the project's Deploy page; this is what each record needs.
