2Deliverables

From Northlight's standard deliverables, counted from the design

  • 11 units supplied, installed and set up across 5 rooms.
  • A build sheet for each of the 10 units that has a setup guide, with every setting worked out for its room.
  • An as-built record in Aigna's Keia: the serial, MAC address and a photo of each position, sent as a reviewed change.
  • The room test result for each room, and a handover Aigna accepts room by room.

3Assumptions

From Northlight's standard terms, and the outlets each space type lists

  • Pantry, digital signage (2.01): 5 power outlets and 4 data outlets in place in each room before the install day, as the space type lists them.
  • Small meeting room, single display (2.02): 8 power outlets, 7 data outlets and 5 direct cable runs in place in each room before the install day, as the space type lists them.
  • Huddle room, small, bring your own meeting (2.03): 8 power outlets and 3 data outlets in place in each room before the install day, as the space type lists them.
  • Focus room, desk and chair (2.04, 2.05): 2 power outlets and 2 data outlets in place in each room before the install day, as the space type lists them.
  • Work happens in normal hours, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with access to each room for a full day.
  • Walls and ceilings take the mounts named in the design without extra fixings or making good.
  • Existing cable containment can be reused; new containment is quoted separately.

4Exclusions

From Northlight's standard terms

  • Building works, electrical works and new cable containment.
  • Network changes beyond reserving addresses and patching the ports the design names.
  • Meeting platform licences, which the client buys and assigns.
  • Removing and disposing of the old kit, unless an option says so.

5What Aigna does

From Northlight's standard terms, and the engagement (aigna-northlight)

  • Reserve an address and a switch port for every networked unit before the install day; the client's floor plans, addresses and switch ports never leave its Keia, so its team fills them in on the job.
  • Buy and assign a meeting platform licence for each room system.
  • Give access to every room on the booked days, and a named person to accept each room.
  • Add the 43 inch commercial display to the device library before it is ordered, so its setup guide and checks exist.

6Acceptance criteria

From Keia's verification: each model's setup guide and each space type's room test

  • Each unit is read back against its setup guide: UH5Q-E display for meeting rooms and signage (1 unit); XT1145 signage player, BSN.cloud managed (1 unit); QMC display for meeting rooms and signage (1 unit); Studio X in Google Meet mode (1 unit); TC10 paired to its room system (1 unit); EXT3 extender pair (2 units); MeetUp 2 in a Google Meet hardware room (1 unit); Dell Pro P conferencing monitor hub (P2726DEB / P3426WEB) (2 units).
  • Each room test passes: every required device in the chosen option is recorded in the space and wired as the option says; every device has an active record in this space; every networked device has an address reservation and DNS records; meeting devices are online, paired and on standard firmware; the room resource exists with the right capacity and is linked to its devices.
  • A room that fails is not accepted until it passes; an accepted snag has an owner and a date.

8Change control

From Northlight's standard terms

  • Any change to the scope is a new version of the quote, with the difference from the last one shown line by line.
  • Once accepted, a change reaches the client's Keia as a reviewed change to the project, never as an edit.

A provider's own Keia

This is Northlight AV's sales

A provider keeps its opportunities, designs, quotes and margins in its own Keia. None of it reaches a client until a quote is accepted, and then only the design, as a proposal. To see it, pick one of its people in View as (Sam Okafor, Northlight AV).
