- 1Connect the laptop to the Thunderbolt 4 upstream port for video, data, network pass-through and up to 90 W charging in one cable.
- 2Open the OSD and set Input Source > Auto Select on, with the Thunderbolt option set to prompt for multiple inputs.
- 3Leave DDC/CI on so Dell Display Manager can adjust brightness and input remotely.
- 4Check the RJ45 port shows the laptop's own network, not a second address; it only passes through once the upstream cable is connected.
