COBIT
ISACA's framework for the governance and management of enterprise information and technology.
- How Keia relates
- Out of scope: Keia sits under your governance, not in place of it
- In short
- COBIT 2019 is the current version; ISACA has announced COBIT 7, whose certificate starts on 27 October 2026, and its structure was not public when this was checked. COBIT sets how an organisation directs and oversees its technology, through 40 governance and management objectives in five domains: Evaluate, Direct and Monitor; Align, Plan and Organize; Build, Acquire and Implement; Deliver, Service and Support; Monitor, Evaluate and Assess. Keia sits under that governance, not in place of it. Its named owners, audit log, standing rules approved by a service owner and vendor access tied to a job are evidence a governance review can read. Everything else in COBIT stays with your normal process.
