Home offices

A home desk gets one cable to the laptop, a centrally managed gateway with its own work network, and a screen set up for a healthy working posture.

• Ship the home office kit from the remote and home space type, with each unit recorded against the person's home site in Keia Atlas before it ships.Remote support needs to know exactly what is on the desk, and returns need the serial numbers.
• Connect the laptop with one USB-C cable that carries picture, network, camera and charging through the monitor or dock. One cable is what people actually plug in every morning; three cables become one missing cable.
• Adopt the gateway into Aigna's UniFi console under an Aigna account before it ships, never with a local-only login. The network team can see, update and fix it from day one without asking the person for a password.
• Connect the gateway's WAN port to the home internet router with a cable, and connect the dock or monitor to its LAN port with a cable.A wired path is the most reliable way to join calls; Wi-Fi is the fallback.
