Vendor access
This part is for Aigna staff
Vendors see their own installation and the device reference they need to build it: device types, setup guides and models. Everything else stays with Aigna.

M4250 AV-over-IP switch (GSM4210PD)
1 unit doesn't match this setup guidechecked just now
Configuring happens in a project's Deploy page
Each device is provisioned, installed, configured in this setup order and commissioned there, ticked off with who and when. This page is the standard it follows.
No project is configuring it now. 2 projects will, later.
On the units running it
A practice run. A new install, in order. Ticks stay on this browser. The real run is ticked device by device in a project's Deploy page.
0 of 8The network team sets the M4250 from its own web interface, using the AV UI's Network Profiles to keep each space's AV-over-IP protocol on its own VLAN with an IGMP querier, and the switch's PoE budget for its endpoints.
Management accessDevice web interface
- SetAdmin passwordFrom the password vault, per siteNo password is required on first login; Aigna sets one immediately, 8 to 64 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.source
- VerifyManagement access protocolHTTPSThe switch defaults to HTTPS for its web interface, which Aigna keeps rather than allowing plain HTTP.source
Date and timeDevice web interface
- SetSNTP serverConfigure › Date and time settingsntp1.aigna.exampleUses Aigna's time server instead of manual entry, so the switch's logs line up with everything else on the site.source
Network Profiles (AV UI)Device web interface
- SetNetwork ProfileConfigure › Network ProfilesThe Network Profile for the space's AV protocol (e.g. Dante, NDI or Kramer AV), Default if the space has noneEach preconfigured Network Profile carries its own VLAN separation and querier settings for that protocol; picking the wrong one can cut a device off from its controller.source
- SetPort assignment (untagged/tagged/excluded)Configure › Network Profiles › [Network Profile] › portsAV endpoints untagged on the Network Profile's VLAN; the uplink taggedMatches how the space's AV-over-IP protocol expects its VLAN to reach each device.source
- VerifyQuerier Election ParticipateConfigure › Network Profiles › [Network Profile] › QuerierOnAlready on by default for the Default Network Profile; a multicast AV stream needs a querier on its VLAN to keep flowing to every receiver.source
Power over EthernetDevice web interface
- SetPoE port power allocationConfigure › Power over EthernetPer the connected device's power class, within the 110 W total budgetThe 8 PoE+ ports share one 110 W budget; setting each port's allocation stops one device starving another when the space is full.source
UpdatesDevice web interface
- SetFirmware updateManage and MonitorManual, downloaded from netgear.com/support/download and applied after the Lab passes itNo automatic-update toggle is documented for this series; Aigna checks and applies a release by hand regardless.source
What the vendor's documents don't say (3)
- The manual doesn't name a default admin username in the excerpts read; NETGEAR switches conventionally use admin.
- No documented automatic-update on/off toggle for this model; only the manual download-and-apply path.
- Per-port PoE class and priority field names weren't confirmed beyond the 110 W total budget and a general power-allocation setting.
Provision is the first step of Deploy: before or as each in-room network switch arrives, every system gets its record, so the device is known the moment it is plugged in. It is ticked in the project's Deploy page; this is what each record needs.
